Covid Update October 16th, 2021


To comply with current regulations for tour transport, please note effective from October 22nd, 2021 (until notified otherwise), all passengers will be required to provide proof of FULL Covid-19 vaccination (age 16+)

We kindly ask that all adult passengers continue to wear a mask whilst onboard the aircraft as mandated by the government. As per the contact tracing guidelines you will be requested to scan the contact tracing QR code supplied or manually sign in.  All guests visiting our premises will also be asked to provide identification showing that you currently reside in Regional Victoria. 

We appreciate your cooperation and ask you to understand that these are rules imposed on our business to enable it to operate.

Phillip Island Helicopters operates with an approved Covid Safe Plan and will continue to clean and disinfect in accordance with guidance from WorkSafe Australia and the public health authority. To protect the safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff we will be providing hand sanitiser stations, handwashing facilities. 

Note, only passengers known to each other will be flown together.

*Minimum 2 passengers applies to all flights. Please note we operate 3 passenger aircraft. Should your booking exceed 3 passengers your group will be travelling on more than 1 aircraft.

We depart the heliport in a Northwest direction passing over the fishing village of Rhyll, then onto Cowes over the jetty and beach at this very popular holiday destination. Upon reaching Cowes we set our sights for the Mornington Peninsula!

On the trip towards the popular coastline you will take in views of Red Hill and its famous winery region.. Arthurs Seat with the not so famous Chairlift then Port Phillip Bay. With the bay directly out the front window we turn towards the south and head for the township of Sorrento passing some of the popular seaside towns such as Dromana, Rosebud and Rye.

We continue south passing over the Sorrento surf beach then follow the coast around towards Cape Schank. On our way back to the heliport, we follow Phillip Island’s south coast passing Seal Rocks, Summerland Bay and the Penguin Parade, Pyramid Rock and the Grand Prix Circuit.
